Meetings are held at the Abbey Baptist Church, Abbey Square, commencing at 7.00 p.m.

February meeting.

Again we were left without a speaker as John Keyworth was stranded in the City of London, courtesy of the London Underground driver's strike. At very short notice Michael and John came up trumps and we had a quiz similar to that of a couple of months ago when we were faced with the same situation. This was based loosely on the T.V. program 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire?'. Unfortunately once again we couldn't manage a million pounds in prize money, but we did have a million pounds worth of fun. Only one member, Tony, managed to answer all five questions and then identify the country of origin of a banknote correctly. Yours truly fared a little better this time by getting a few points for his team.

Pictured is one of the notes in the quiz, an Albanian 100 leke note from 1957.

Michael provided the member's display, bringing along a collection of facsimile banknotes as used in T.V. and film productions. There were four dealer tables open and twenty one members attended.

This evening on 3rd March was the Bourse, always a popular evening. We had an extra meeting in March 1971 when Michael Dolley came to talk to us on the subject of Treasure Trove.

What goes around, comes around!
